The weekend of March 24th-25th delivers a bumper crop of livestreamed League of Legends tournaments to your computer. Here’s the lowdown to make sure you don’t miss a minute of it.
The action starts at the ggClassic tournament hosted by ggChronicle. 32 teams will compete for a combined prize pool of $5,000; their ranks include invited competitors such as Dignitas, mTw.NA, RFLX, Curse, Counter Logic Gaming, Team SoloMid, v8 eSports, and Epik. The round of 16 kicks off at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 24th PST(18:00 UK Time)and the battles continue at 10:00 AM on Sunday PST (18:00 UK Time), until a final winner is declared. Moscow Five’s incredible victory in the Intel Extreme Masters Grand Finals last week left many people wanting more. Fear not! Dennis "Take" Gehlen invited 16 of the best League of Legends teams from Europe for the Sennheiser Heartowin Cup this weekend and the battle is currently underway! Starting at 14:00 on Friday, March 16th and Saturday, Martch 17th, six players from these teams will be in the Take TV studio, casting games and offering their expert insight between rounds. So not only can you watch some of your favorite players in game, but you can hear their commentary before and after!

This Tuesday, the 6th of March marks the World Championships of the Intel Extreme Masters Series! Here the top performing teams from the Global Challenge events will come together in Hanover, Germany to do battle over a combined prize pool of $100,000 and the right to call themselves World Champions.
Starting on Tuesday, the 6th of Match and concluding on Saturday, the 10th of March we’ll be bringing you virtually non-stop League of Legends action. Don’t miss this chance to see some of the best teams from all across the globe competing live!
Play4Fame is a tournament series organized by 4 Players League (4PL), a German eSports organization. The tournament is open to all participants; qualifiers occur every weekend of the month, ultimately culminating in a final at the end of every month.
Participating teams compete in 5v5 matches every weekend of any given month. Teams who earn the most qualification points during these matches will advance and qualify to compete in the monthly finals with a prize pool of €750.
The last qualifier for the month of February is this Saturday, Feb. 25 at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Teams who get through the 5v5 qualifier have the opportunity to advance to the finals on Feb. 27th at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time and compete against other qualified teams for a 1st Place Prize of €400.
With the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship starting March 6th, we wanted to give competitive League of Legends fans a brief overview of the teams playing in the event. We’ve tracked down each team’s roster and the roles each player performs so you can know who to watch when the competition starts.
Roster and Roles:
Currently the number one seed on the Intel Extreme Masters rankings, as well as tied for first in the North American Challenger Circuit, Counter Logic Gaming is a clear favorite to making it out of Group A and potentially to the finals of the tournament. The team showed impressive skill during the Curse Invitational, and have more experience playing against the Chinese teams than any other team at the event.

Corsair has announced that the next installment of the Vengeance Cup series will be the first to feature League of Legends! This high-profile 256 team Prized Event will take place on the EU West platform and sports a total prize pool of $10,000. The group stage will start on Monday, the 12th of March, when the competition will whittle its way down to 128 teams. From there the tournament will enter a direct elimination playoff, culminating in the finals on Tuesday, the 27th of April.
Signups for the tournament come to a close on Tuesday, the 6th of March, but the brackets are already filling up! Be sure to sign your team up for the Corsair Vengeance Cup before the roster’s full.

More and more League of Legends teams are signing up for the National ESL Go4LoL Tournament Series each and every week! Celebrating its 50th installment in North American and 78th installment in Europe this week, the popular tournament series hosted over 800 League of Legends teams this past weekend, including 499 teams in EU West alone!
