I believe only friendly and honorable opponent gives ribbons.

you cant earn badges by getting honor only from teamwork thats not how the system works. If you get honor by the same people all the time its nothing worth and the chances of getting a badge are decreasing even more.
Now B2T: You cant see your honor badges yourself the only people how can see it are either the enemy team when you have the honorable opponent badge or your teammates when you have one of the friendly/helpful badges.
