Ok, so I decieded on buying a new PC seeing as my Laptop can't run lol at 15+ FPS.
Which specs would I need to run LoL on 60+ FPS with TS3 running and recording with fraps/streaming?

Help please.

EDIT: Would also like to run on Medium - Very High Settings on all.

I run in an avarage of 70 - 120 frames ( the GC is sort of burned out, long story).

Something a little less expencive migth do, if so youl have to play with low - mid graphs ( not sure, but its my personal opinion)

CPU

Core i3 or i5,
personally, i would chose i3 for what you need,

but if you want a bit of future proofing, go for the i5 650

The core i5 760 is really not needed and i7 is overkill.

Power Supply

Really all you need is 550-650watts, theres honestly no reason why you would want to go over 700watts, afterall, the cpu dye is 32nm, meaning it uses less power, the Core i series are only 1.2v
Same as the GPU, they also use far less power.

i would recommend going for a 650w
keep in mind the following
it MUST have a 8pin CPU connector
6pin connector for GPU
Sata power connections.

RAM

2 GB stick is fine for a start, but its highly recommended you get atleast 4GB (2x2sticks or a single 4GB stick, 2x2 so you can take advantage of Dual channel if the RAM you buy supports it.)

1066hz or 1333hz should be enough for gaming needs.

a motherboard that supports Core i3/i5 (LGA1156) there are 2 different version H55 and P55, P55 is the better and higher priced of the 2.

I've got a feeling that he wants to buy a pre-built rig not a custom one. These days a good PC has about 4 GB of RAM and any decent graphics card. I currently use a laptop with 4 GB RAM, a GeForce 9500M GS 512 MB graphics card (this is a laptop one you'll have to look into computer ones yourself) and 2.0 GHz Dual Core processor. Its just over 2 years old now and runs LoL at above 60 fps constantly and up to 100.

Anything with a similar set up will do the job easily. Shouldn't be too expensive these days either.

we have the same problem (well, i have never had more than 13 FPS, but it's similar) :P seems that however my solution is different... i started being sick of Windows after i changed from Win98 to WinXP... i deleted Vista and reinstalled XP... still i think that DOS was better, and Win7 does not promise anything special to me. too heavy operative systems. i'll try a Mac, and see what happens.
