I like playing hecarim as jungler ofc but haven't really been satisfied with his damage if I try and build it or his tankiness if you go that route.

I normally go the merc/ninja wriggles, tri, randuins

I'm asking on hear what you guys think of him, build him
And if you feel he needs further buffs or tweaks.


I for one feel that his damage even when fed is on the low end

Edit: Why is it you don't see hecarim solo top? He has sustain, great setup for gank and decent escape. Asking in case some of you more experienced top players know why.

His damage is really strong if played right lol, normally I use this build for hecarim

Merc, Wriggles, Triforce, Last Whisper, Atmas, Maw of Malmortius - my ad totalled at about 360, with defensive stats at about 150mr and armor.

He's a horse of course he's viable!

I play Hecarim a lot, but more solo top then jungle, and I agree.
Hecarim is viable, though his stats are a little on the low side imho.

Anyone tried other builds excluding tri force as item ?

I actively seek him out for free kills. I've never played against a Hecarim that was actually threatening.

ive seen hecarim beat lee sin top. he cant be that bad.

he just isn't there. too weak and too squishy for my taste. hope they buff same base stats on him, but slightly.
