Therefore, there is not much reason for me to continue updating this thread, even more so with my new time constraints. Consequently, I will stop updating this thread, but I urge you to follow the one I talked about, the Skin Sales Super-Thread (it is a link) in the NA forum, it is a really great thread. I will not erase the contents of this thread just for the sake of nostalgia.

The latest Skin Sales are easily checked at http://eu.leagueoflegends.com/news/sales, but not the older ones. Those are posted in the forums, and it is not very pleasant to Ctrl+F your way through the League of Legends Announcements forum’s threads to check them.
As the title implies, this thread’s purpose is to list all the Skin Sales that Riot Games has done, so that you, as costumers, can try to predict if a skin will be on sale in a near future or not and decide if you want to wait for that eventual sale or buy the skin for its normal price. You can do this by using this list to check if a particular skin you want to buy has ever been on sale and or how many times it has been. This way, you can eventually save a lot of RPs.
Mind that it is nearly impossible to predict if/when a skin will be on sale, but one can expect a sale to a certain degree by using a number of factors into account. Some of them (IMO) are:
A skin is put on sale around 4 to 5 months after it's release, be it with a champion release or by itself.
The less recent a skin is, the more likely it is for it to be on sale in a near future.
The more time since a sale of a skin, the more likely it is for it to be again in a near future.
The less times a skin has been on sale, the more likely it is for it to be in a near future.
The less expensive a skin is, the more likely it is for it to be on sale in a near future.
The less a champion is played, the more likely it is for a skin of it to be on sale in a near future.
The less popular a skin is, the more likely it is for it to be on sale in a near future.
The order of the above factors' importance is arguable.
Note that these are my opinions, do not take them as facts. Also, although I made my best to ensure that all the information in this thread is correct, I might have made mistakes. Use this information at your own risk, and take full responsibility for your actions, do not blame me for influencing you to buy or not to buy a skin.
