Hello everybody, as you may have guessed, my PC runs LoL with low FPS. Before 1-2 patches it was ok, even in teamfights (about 15-20 FPS), with very low all settings. But since the new patches my FPS drops a lot especially in teamfights and I am considering a PC upgrade.

Here are my PC stats: Pentium 4 3.4 GHz, 2.0 GB RAM and ATI Radon x600 (0x5B62). I went to canyourunit.com, and I failed at Recommended configuration at the graphics card. It said it need a minimum GeForce 8800 or equivalent.

So the question is: if I just replace my graphics card, will I be able to run LoL at very low settings at a decent FPS at teamfights? Or even if I get a decent graphic card it wouldn't be enough, since my processor has old technology? Thanks for your time reading.

I have P4 3.0 Ghz - 2 Gb Ram 250 gb hdd and HIS Radeon 1650xPro and i can play smoothly with low graphic settings, just change your graphic card. It should do it.

omg i have same problem only fail is that i have nvidia ge force 8600 so that cant work? i rly need 8800?

same.. i have good computer, but my fps is 10 in action? WHAT?

i can run perfectly fine with about 50-80 fps. But something has change because some patch ago i had 100+ so they have made something that demands more.
(this is when not anything special is going on ex. laning face)

I7 950 @ 3.8ghz
Ati HD6970 DirectcuII @ 950 gpu clock
6gb Corsair Dominator GT 2000mhz @ 1600mhz CAS 6
Around 3TB Disc Samsung F3

With benchmark settings i get around 340 fps peak 280 min
