This guide will teach you how to properly use duo queue and will also teach how to get your elo around 1600-1800 the way 20-30% of the 1600-1800 have reached their elo.
THIS GUIDE IS NOT FOR NOOBS if you're a bad player, don't even bother reading or replying.

Step One
a) Try Get To around 1400-1500 elo simply through queueing solo(this is not difficult if you deserve to be in 1700)

b) Find another good player -> Fill him in on your masterplan

c) Ask your Friend to create a smurf account or deliberately lower their elo below 1200

Step Two
a) Duo queue with your friend. The enemy team will have a flat 1300-1400 rating the first few games While you and your friend have a huge elo diffeence and your team a flat 1300 rating. You should easily stomp them and win about 3-4 games(8 out of 10 games should be wins).

b) Ask your friend to deliberately lose some more games to lower their rating back to 1200.

c) Duo queue again and repeat until you have about 1600 elo. (your Friend will stop taking a dive and Kick some serious ass every game he is queueing with you)

Step Three
Now you Don't need your friend anymore.At 1600 you will just get carried by decent players to 1700-1800 with a few defeats now and then.

Point of this method: This way you can enjoy fighting(stomping) 1200-1400 rated enemies while safely reaching 1600 elo. Also you can always control your team bans by being the highest rated member to ban or first pick noob stomper champions.

Alternative: Do it the Classic way. The choice is yours, You don't have to follow the guide : ) There are plenty of high elo players who have gotten up there the old fashion way.

This is just a workaround if you think your team mates are the reason why you are not progressing in elo

Additional info:
- You will suffer more penalty for losing, but you should be able to win 8 out of 10 games.
win gain is around 11 ip and loss is 14-16ip lost - In Conclusion you will climb elo
- A level 30 smurf Takes about 1-2 weeks to level with XP boost
- Most top players have multiple level 30 accounts.
- Do not attempt this if you truly belong in 1300

yup, people have been abusing this for too long, i feel a fix is needed

queing atm with a 860-900 elo friend which not belongs there at all and were carrying games like every before. im queing on 1350 elo and our 3 last games they surrendered after 22-26 mins. even when we had a afker on our team.
