So I really wanted a space saving skin for my LoL client (as i really dislike annoying stuff o.O") and then I finally found the almost perfect skin on leaguecraft, I was so exited, until I read that it does NOT work with the rads launcher. So I stared to look for the files in the rads folders to at least try, I found a few by using spotlight... but they aren't all in the same folder (I guess this is why people just give up and say its impossible).

Mac OsX
1. Download the skin you want.
2. Under finder preferences go the the advanced tab and set it to search the current folder in the dropdown box.
3. Now open up your downloaded skin folder and the LoL folder (do this by right clicking and choosing "view contents of this package") and then using the finder search utility search the LoL folder for the file names that your skin gives you and navigate to their "mother" folder by clicking on it at the bottom of the finder window, now you only have to overwrite that file by dragging it over and clicking overwrite (note that while in this folder you can also try and copy the other files over into the"mother" folder and if it asks you to overwrite do it and if not just drag it back)
4. Keep doing until your done.
5. Play and have fun!!

Windows PC
You basically do the same thing but you can skip the finder things as windows is preset to search the current folder (i think)

This won't work with the regular launcher skins as the rads launcher uses flash and the old one uses something else. (i think iv'e read)

The new distribution of the characters folders sucks imho, the characters are splited in 4 folders? i dont get the purpose of this...

I don't fully understand this guide. There are no .dds files anywhere in my LoL folder for me to replace with the one in my custom skin .rar?

I have the same problem as Oglaf, all my character folders are split into three empty folders, "Animations", "Script", and "Info". And there seems to be no .dds files anywhere, even hidden.

This guide is pretty outdated. I suggest you stop bumping this thread and look for other threads about customizing
