Riot Lyte

First off all, big kudo's for responding to all of us!
Second i really like the tribunal and i think it is really good!

Can you tell me how much reports i have, i have never been banned besides by the buster / leaver system (twice) once one day and another 3 days. I am just wondering how much reports i have as i see myself as a regular joe player 1500+ elo and just enjoying the game. Maybe i am all wrong but i really wonder xD

Now, talking from my personal experience: I have a pretty competitive mindset when playing this game. I play it a LOT and to be honest its quite frustrating to be trolled and lose so much hard to gain elo due to people that play ranked games as lightly as if they would be playing on the Proving grounds. After another season, I have come to learn a few things. I was banned once and I tried to improve my behaviour. But thruth is, its impossible not to lose ones mind when you are struggling so hard in the 1000's bracket and you are constantly being pushed down in rating because people double lock mid, blame you for their own mistakes, or whatever. I try hard not to flame or rage at people that are bad at the game, and I don't believe I ever rerported anyone for being so. But when people troll me, I sometimes troll them back. Because playing Lol is at times one of the most frustranting things there is. My question is: how do you guys view these situations: you said earlier that a player that rages at a toxic player is toxic himself. But would you understand that people may burst in some situations due to long frustrating streaks of big elo loss caused by team mate trolling or negative attitude? How would you differenciate a player of this kind of toxicity from a real toxic player whose behaviour isn't caused by such reasons?
As stated before in this thread, the bigest part of the player base do not even chat at all, part of some pings and calling a mia/ss.

From personal experiece it's better to just let them flame you. They will stop flaming if you do not respond. And at the end of the game push the report button. If the flaming is way to severe, ignore them. Flaming back won't make it any better, it will only make your chances of losing bigger. You said you have a competitive mindset so it's better to just ignore them instead of starting a flame war to this isnt increasing the chance of winning. Even a dual mid sometimes work, try to make the best out of these games.

Also why does the tribunal not show the summoner level of the person being reported, without the level being displayed it becomes harder to tell if he is clearly trolling or simply learning?
Playing against the meta is the same as taking weird summoner spells - it depends on the context. The VAST majority of players goes "against the meta" just to troll, or because they don't want to play a role.

We all need to accept the fact that Riot is just a Company, TBH they don't give a **** about whats going on. Whole Tribunal is just PR move. All they care about is money and things like Tribunal etc are just ways to get more ppl in game which mean more money. For players playing this game for long time permaban just mean, ehm ok I got banned, lets level up a new account ( with XP boost of course) = moneyyyy.

Lyte,

since you already did it in the us forum, i also want to know how "bad" my account is atm (near to permaban or sth, you know what i mean)

I also got banned for 2 weeks and i know im not innocent. i'd just like to know it.
I wont be like "oh, i can still flame until my next ban then i have to care because i could get permabanned", i just want to know the amount of reports because of me and the situation of my account to improove my behavious.

Greetings

Lyte, does your tribunal level fall relatively to how close the bans were to each other or is it a fixed amount depending on the level you are currently placed?

Today i already got added by two summoners after that i successfully led our team to win from the point where we only had a nexus and the had pretty much every object up with a nice speech and i told them what to do... I feel like i could change but if you were that kind to let me know the reasons why I've been such toxic I would be glad.
Actually, I remember you because I reviewed your case personally during the audit process. I'm sorry to say that we don't want you to keep playing League of Legends, you've damaged the community way too much during your time here.

You've received over 1200 reports with a whopping 28% reports/game ratio. Unlike other players, most of the reports against you are valid as well... with 54% of your total reports being valid Verbal Abuse, Offensive Language or Negative Attitude reports.

I absolutely hate it when I have to tell a player to leave the game, but we don't feel there's a place for you in League. I'm sorry.

EDIT ::: A few people are wondering what I meant by "Unlike other players, most of the reports against you are valid as well." I actually was referring to the report distribution. Many players get some number of Intentional Feeding reports (which is a report category I hate since players don't use it accurately); however, this player had a huge number of reports related to actual toxic behavior.

@ Lyte

Just one suggestion, if i may: would be cool if we could have somekind of access to wtv kind of info you could provide us about our conduct. Im pretty sure you know the general atmosphere of a normal ranked (or normal) match: the team that loses will always have a bit of flaming or raging, causing that in, like you said earlier, practically every game played there is a toxicity issue to be dealt with or resolved.

Honour doesn't solve this. Honour was cool in the first weeks, but now people are already neglecting it and nobody really cares anymore about the ribbons as they seem to forget about it and have learned that it doesn't mean much.

What really would be an interesting idea, if possible, would be if you could classify players according to their behaviour. A player who never got reports would have 5 stars in green color in his profile, for example. Whilst one that gets more than 1 report every 100 games would get 1 star in red color. It would be also a way for each player to track his own behavioural record and try to correct it once he/she realized he was getting close to low lvls (3 stars or 2 stars and a half).
